Research Interests

Surface/Interfacial Science and Micro-/Nanosystems Technology

Research in our group centers around physical and chemical phenomena related to the development of new applications of micro- and nanotechnology. It aims to explore new and interesting frontiers of science and engineering, with particular interest in micro/nanosystems technology, sensors and energy. Our current research may be divided into three major thrusts: Materials development for micro/nanotechnology; Surface and interfacial issues in M/NEMS; and Fundamental aspects of surfaces and interfaces.
